    Hedersutmerkelsen er i regi av det svenske motefagbladet Habit og vinneren vil kunngjøres under deres årlige galla i oktober.

    Vi ønsker forslag på norske kandidater eller fra norske bedrifter. Gisle M. Mardal er norsk representant i en nordisk jury som skal kåre årets nordiske mønsterkonstruktør. Utlysningsteksten er slik:

    Nominate the Nordic Pattern Maker of the Year!

    For the first time, Habit Magazine and Lectra jointly award Pattern Makers in the Nordic countries, as we believe that it is time to illuminate their importance to the Fashion Industry. With this Prize we also hope to give the profession a long overdue recognition, and to promote this important work for the future of the industry.

    So please nominate yourself or a colleague who deserves to be recognized, on the Award site www.habitmodebranschensdag.se. To finalize the nomination you need to submit examples of work: either images of patterns or garments produced from patterns. We also need a short letter describing the work and the attitude towards the profession.

    Nominations are open until June 16. The Award is presented at the Habit Fashion Award 2023 event on October 5 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
